Born in Scotland, the youngest of four, Suzie spent the majority of her childhood living in Buckinghamshire. She trained as a nurse, later specialising in the care of older people. Having always thrived on meeting interesting and unusual individuals, Suzie has gained a wealthy mental portfolio of remarkable characters, particularly as a community nurse, who have helped to underpin her imaginative writing.
She now lives in The Chilterns with her husband, three fast maturing children, two dogs, a cat, a horse and occasionally eight or so black Labrador puppies.
Suzie has published two novels in The Pumpkin Allan Series, with a third on the way. Her enjoyment of the countryside, interest in human idiosyncrasies and love of humour has enabled her to paint a colourful picture of life in a rather special, rural English hamlet.
